[ Bro. Robert C.Hoover Sr., has posted this article in one of
the Lists. It is
a

the
information, Freemasons should give their children. The Freemasons
are
not properly instructing the children on the noble tenets of
Freemasonry,
which most of them follow in their day to day life. This article is
recommended for all the
Freemasons as a guide for enlightening their children about
our
noble fraternity. Let us all earn the appreciation and the encomium
of our Children. that they are Proud of us..... Please read on....]
Mother, please do explain to me, with clarity, what is a Freemason?
What care does give you in that, my son?
My father is a Freemason and fair that I know!
The mother, with great tenderness and affection with her hands
stroking
her son's hair, made him sit down by her side and she began to narrate the
the true description of the freemason in her husband.
"Freemason, my dear son, is a well educated man, a man of good conduct,
who doesn't allow any bad passion to vibrate in his heart, which doesn't
entertain even the least trace of any injustice or cruelty, but always
seeks the truth and is a shining example of good conduct
and honesty.
In any cause, he acts with fairness.
He considers the home, a Temple and discharges his duties to his home.
He is a specialist, who doesn't get tired of learning. He respects all
opinions and is against to all oppressions, but humbly extends a
helping,
hand to the needy. practicing the noble virtue of charity.
He hates the evil and is always ready to run to defend the virtuous
and
the oppressed. He helps the old ones and gives piece of advice to
the youths. He forgives every offense.
He always strives to acquire perfection, with the full knowledge
that
nobody is without defects."
In any way, my son, I believe that I have defined the personality of a
Freemason, because, I drew you your father's picture.
The boy, kissing his mother gratefully, whispered in her ear:
MOTHER! I AM PROUD OF MY FATHER !
